Embracing SMART Transport Corridors in Africa

Land-Linked Zambia 2025 Conference

The 4th edition of Land-Linked Zambia in 2025 will be held on 10-11 April under the theme “Embracing SMART Transport Corridors in Africa”. SMART in transport terms stands for Safety, Mobility and Automated Real-Time Traffic Management. The theme is therefore a clarion call for stakeholders to realise the business and investment opportunities in the corridors that Zambia has embraced; Central, Beira, Nacala, North-South, Walvis-Ndola-Lubumbashi and now the Lobito corridor.

Although land-linked, Zambia complements regional development plans as the strategic link of the corridor network in SADC and COMESA, thereby using its land-linked status to facilitate trade and serve its neighbors. The conference & exhibition will underline the vital role the regional transport and logistics industry plays in the global and regional commodity value chain including the movement and storage of goods.
