During the Land-Linked Zambia 2024 conference held in early April, we had a brief ‘Coffee with the Editor‘ session with Chimwemwe Nyirenda, Founder & MD of Africast, the organisers of the event. Chimwemwe shared insights into the third annual conference, highlighting Zambia’s crucial role in regional transport and logistics despite its landlocked status. The discussion also explored the assembly of stakeholders from across Southern Africa, who gathered to explore investment and business opportunities along Zambia’s key transport corridors. Furthermore, Chimwemwe outlined the vision for the fourth Land-Linked Zambia conference, scheduled for 10th to 11th April 2025.
